Staff...

We believe that a home is only as good as it's staff. Therefore our staff are selected not only for their care skills but their ability to make you feel valued, safe, cared for and content. All the staff come from the local area so you may know some of them already! We have a very committed team of workers and even though some will come and go you can rely on always seeing a familiar face, someone who cares for you. We also care for your family and friends and make sure they feel welcome and enjoy their visit. The staff receive a lot of praise from visitors who say they 'feel like part of the family'.

There are three shifts of work:

The Care Manager works five days a week and is there to attend to your every need. In addition you can be sure that there is a Senior member of staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All staff have up to date training in all areas of residential care including first aid, manual handling, dementia care, dealing with challenging behaviour and SVQ qualifications.
